Uhm, hello?! The whole point of this community is to SHARE music that other people don't have/can't afford to buy.
She was just asking because she would buy it if she could afford it. But she can't. So she was KINDLY asking if anybody had it and would share it with her.

Wow, your response has made me very happy that I haven't shared any WRock in months. Hell, I'll probably be just as catty as you and take down what remaining posts I have since all the links still work; but then again that's too much effort.
WRock albums are hard to come by when no one is willing to fork up the money. I get very tired of people asking for albums that haven't even been out for a whole week. You're lucky if you only have to wait a month.

Listen, I'm sorry for upsetting you. I am. If I could afford to buy this album (which I can't, since I'm 17 and still financially dependent upon my parents,) I would. I do believe this album is the worth the money it costs to buy it. I just wanted to hear the album. Sorry for the offense.
I don't request often, but if this is the kind of reception I'm gonna get, I may just go somewhere else on LJ to get wrock. I certainy wasn't expecting this kind of reaction.

I agree with you dear. Wrock albums are very hard to come by, period. Maybe she should have asked her parents for the money or atleast had the decency to wait a little while after the album's release to ask.
The issue isn't asking for the album, but the sheer audacity to ask for a brand, spanking, new album when lord knows it takes said album weeks to get delivered to your house when you actually bought it. Couldn't you wait another month. Let us who actually paid for it, get it in the mail first. geez!

I mean, I have asked for albums before in wrock as well, but not a mere few weeks after it's release! These are not like regular albums that you can just for the most part download off of itunes. (yes some you can like MOM (Ministry of Magic)or TRL (The Remus Lupins) that she mentioned) Last I checked you had to buy the ALL CAPS album "B min/E" from their myspace..like I did.. and still have yet to get in the mail! Jeez!

Maybe she should ask her parents if she can earn the money to buy the album like most kids do. I did it, most of my high school friends did that. If not then she should know to at least wait a little while.
So now there's a catfight going on in the Wizardrock section of mp3_share ... I mean, I'm not really helping, by any means, but come on and have some freakin' common sense!
