My first entry
Well, I am entering my first entry into this live journal thingy. I guess I could start by talking about what happened in my life the past month.
I'm typing this entry with my brand new, emachines computer that I got for xmas! That was one of the highlights of the family xmas party that I had xmas day. Another highlight was my brother's complaining about not getting enough presents by his family, the spoiled brat lol. Although, I can't really say that I'm not a spoiled child either, I got a new cellphone, a toy digital camera (it actually takes pictures that you can print on the computer), a new computer, a couple of games for PS2, a CSI puzzle (from the show), and a whole bunch of other crap. To be honest, I really wouldn't have cared if I got anything for xmas, there was something still missing. I hear that everyone else's holidays are getting crappier as they get older because they need girlfriends to cuddle with, and I kinda agree with them. For some reason, I haven't really called this one girl who has a crush on me, I guess I just don't like talking on phones for some reason. I also haven't talked to her in 2 months since the end of competition band season, which is one reason why I miss it. :( I also kinda feel intimidated by anybody's parents, even I am kinda awkward around one of my friend's parents, and I've known them for as long as I can remember. I guess I'm just anti-social, because I haven't really hung out with my friends much during break, and it's almost halfway done.
As for the other things that happened during our little family xmas party, I was getting beat up by my cousins for the millionth time, as usual. That's what I get for existing I guess. There was a lot of people there, but I still felt really lonely, which kinda points to the fact that I need a girlfriend. Anyways, I got to try what wine tastes like, I had a little sip at the dinner table, it tasted HORRIBLE! I've only tasted one thing more horrible than that, and it was a year ago when I had my colonoscopy, and I had to drink this really nasty-tasting laxative that tasted like pure salt and lemons mixed in water. Then for a while, I started feeling a little dizzy later that evening due to the sip of wine and getting tired (my bro was up for 3 hours then decided to wake me up at 7, he was up at 4!). Man, am I never going to drink wine again! Another big thing that happened was the Saturday Night Live (SNL) trivia game that I just got. We all played that together, boys vs. girls. It was pretty fun, considering the fact that the little kids had no idea what the answers are and made up most of the girls team. XD Needless to say, the boys won by answering the game-deciding question (we all wanted to watch SNL xmas on DVD, so we just decided the game on one question). So then we watched SNL xmas, then everyone left. Nothing else interesting happened that night.
The only interesting thing that happened up from xmas untill now was I got my braces tightened. It hurt like hell! I had to get a spring, which is a rubberband going all the way accross the row of brackets. But I don't have to wear rubber bands in my mouth during the day (not the spring, I still have to wear that :( ), so that is a plus.
I think that I need to get out and see the world more, especially since one of my dreams is to go to Japan. ^_^
I also understand how hard it is to realize that all of the seniors from last year at our schools left for college, I still miss them. :*(
I can't wait untill next year's competition band performance, we are going to be doing music from Epcot's night time show! (forgot what it's called)
I hope to expect more to happen tommorrow, for I may call the girl I was talking about earlier.
