i am suddenly depressed and very lonely. lots of saudades for marquette and the way things were back when alan and alison threw all those great theme parties and we were all happy and excited to work at the coop and we all started hanging out with emily and janelle and there were three or four potluck dinners every week where you could go be with all of the coop people and everyone was drinking wine from the bottle and hiking through blizzards and three-foot-deep snow drifts to go sit at a bar and drink cheap pitchers of beer or play broom ball at the commons.

oh well. i guess my goal of "starting over again in 2010" really happened, because sometimes i really feel like i'm starting over from scratch.
