Get in!

...You know, that expression doesn't entirely make sense. I mean, get in to what?

But, anyway.

I am now (kinda) officially on the Creative Writing course for Part 2 next year.

Go name dropping. The registration lady was trying to tell me that since I didn't do part 1 I couldn't do part 2, so I told her that that George Green guy told me that he didn't see why that would be a problem since I did the writing module in Indie Studies, so she let me on.

Okay, fine. So at the time (well, shortly after the time when I was brooding on the meeting and finding all the niggling loopholes so I could think of ways around them before they decide to spring it on me) I did kind of get the impression that he was talking about part 1 while I was talking about part 2, but damn it, they can't take away the fact that he said it would be okay! As far as I'm concerned, I asked the Part 2 secretary about Part 2, and she told us to see each other, and he said it was okay. Whether or not she told him that I was talking about Part 2 is not my problem. So there!

Yes, I will be sitting here waiting for that email saying that such-and-such doesn't remember agreeing to my doing the course and that they are hereby revoking my enrolment, or whatever bullshit way they go about writing these things, at which point, depending on my mood at the time, I will either quarrel, quietly resign myself to doing the boring-ass History of Electronic Music course because I just can't be bothered dealing with ye asswankers anymore, or sit in a corner and cry. Most likely the second one, because I don't care enough at this point for the third and, as much confidence as I've supposedly gained over the past year, I'm still too shy for the first.

Either way, you, my dear friends list, will be stuck with my bitching should decide to read that entry, should I remember to make it.

...

Damn it. I totally should have got it in writing so they can't back out. They'll have to at least let me do the part 1 course, though. I refuse to do Music Tech by itself, even if I have to work double time on something else. *grumbles*

skool, ye asswankers
