Anyway. I went to see Watchmen yesterday. I really liked it. It came out just at the right time where I remembered just enough of the book to never be confused, but not enough to notice or care if they changed anything. At the very least, most of the scenes looked familiar so they must have come straight out of the book. Maybe they were just on the edge of overdoing it with the slow-mo, but... It gave me the same feeling I remember the book did when I read it. I think. That was mega long ago; I don't tend to remember that far back.
Anyway, walking back from the cinema, there was a busker singing "Wish You Were Here", but he was singing it in a Dylan-ish way, which totally fit in with the movie--kinda surreal. Felt like I was walking around in end credits. Didn't help that my brain was in a narratey mood. Weird.
I also meant to talk about Confessions of a Shopaholic, which was okay, but would've been better if I hadn't paid for it. Also predictable as hell.
And Notorious, which was utter shit. Seriously, you could feel that every shot was made to show Biggie as some kind of angel, except with flaws because he was just a man, believe it or not. Yeah, fuck off, Piddy, he wasn't that great. Lay off the white light already! All it did was make me feel like I was watching TBS....Does TBS still exist? Anyway, it had made for TV written all over it. Whoever directed it was a dumbass. Also the Mickey Mousing in the music? So not cool.
In conclusion, shit.

And there was something else, but I forget. I've seen more movies in the cinema this year than I have in the whole time I've been in this country. lol Gotta love Orange Wednesdays, right? Or maybe hate. My wallet probably hates it.
Oh what a joy work will be tomorrow, compiling all the characters in Hollyoaks ever. This is a soap that's been going on since 1995. God only knows why they haven't done this themselves all this time. No, they leave it to me, from the company that's only peripherally involved. -_- Tossers.
