[America woke up that morning to a strange phone call asking why he hadn't been going to work. He'd been putting in plenty of hours at the autoshop, but apparently his new job was at the high school. It certainly explained why he'd gotten funny looks at the autoshop the day before.

Ha, I agree. It's made up with the characters for "science" and "control". My family has something of an odd taste in names.
