So, I actually have been busy! It's like after I made that post about being bored, my life suddenly got exciting! 'Ask and you shall receive' I guess, lol. Unfortunately, I forgot to post about this last week, so here it is now! I'm lazy and copied the post I made in
hetalia, with a few adjustments. It goes without saying, but this is a monster of a post. Dial up users, beware!
On Tuesday, a bunch of us gathered at Hannah's house to marathon Axis Powers Hetalia, an adorable web-comic turned anime that tends to piss off a lot of people on
fandomsecrets. We had fun having "international" (lol) food and catching up. Ben also tried on his cosplay that Hannah's been working on. Later on, Benjamin, Hannah, Matt and I went to In-n-Out for dinner at 10:30, and I didn't get home until midnight. >_> It was really hard to wake up and go to class the next day...
We made picks of flags and characters to stick in the food. Hannah made the flags while I drew the characters.
Most of our spread! Sadly, America got cut out in this picture. I was trying to take these before everyone decided to dig in. I also didn't get a picture of the gnocchi we made. D=
This might need a little explaining. >_> We really wanted Prussia and Austria, but being stupid Americans poor college students, we had to improvise a little. Since Germany was wurst (naturally), we made Prussia be a potato. Matt decided to bring donuts, but Benjamin was already bringing brownies (Americaaa), so I did some research on donuts and found out about Austrian
Krapfen, and we made this donut/apricot hybrid monstrosity. Not correct in any way, shape, or form but fairly amusing. >_>
German wurst (kind of...) and Debbie made biscotti for Italy! As I said earlier, we also made Gnocchi for Italy and threw some wurst in.
Onigiri for Japan was pretty self-explanatory. These were the most popular, suprisingly.
American brownies, oh yeah! Someone commented that this picture looked like the lunar landing, lol.
English tea, Canadian ginger ale (lol) and "Swiss" chocolate (which tasted an awful lot like our "French" chocolate).
Swedish Fish! It had to be done.
England is not amused by America's sparkly winking.
"Heeeeeeeeeeey, West~! Nice wurst."
Hannah made an England plushie, and he was down chilling with us in the kitchen. Arthur Kirkland and Captain Kirk glass, OTP...?
Benjamin's Russia cosplay! Lol, everyone on
hetalia said his red eyes freaked them out. xD But the outfit looks great! Awesome job, Hannah~☆
Smile everyone~! (Lol, whooooooshing Chris.)
If that wasn't enough excitement, the next day, we ventured to Six Flags to enjoy the thrill rides! Everyone picked me up from school at noon, and off we went. The unanimous favorite was Hammerhead, which we rode twice. And now we can say that we played rock paper scissors upside down. Yep.
I ganked your pictures, Debbie. xD I hope you don't mind. Our first ride of the day, the tram...!
I think this was after the first rollercoaster. Everyone was pretty psyched (Look more psyched Matt, dammit!).
Waiting for the whale show~ (Sadly, not much happened. Oh well.)
Now with less me and more Debbie!
Matt took this picture. I look like an axe murderer. xD
Crikey, it's the rare Debbie-fish! They've only been spotted in the wild a handful of times! I was lucky to get this shot, I tell ya.
Hannah got to meet her idol, Batman! And original Batman, too! Not emo-no-idea-wtf-you-are-saying-Dark Knight Batman!
For some reason, near the end of the day, we decided to hop on a water ride. That was really cold. We went on some rollercoasters to dry off, afterward.
Debbie looking displeased and Benjamin looking like....Benjamin. xD We were very displeased when we found out that you needed to rent a locker to go on Medusa for bags and whatnot, and our bags got locked in the wrong locker! ;_; Luckily a park attendant helped us, but we still had to buy a new locker just to go on one ride.
Had Chevy's at around 9 and got home at 11. Crashed immediately afterwards. xD
Yeah. xD All that + school last week. I had to catch up on homework and reading over the weekend since I was too tired to do anything when I got home on Tuesday and Wednesday. More hanging out the day before yesterday so we could look for stuff for Matt's Doitsu cosplay, but couldn't find anything. D= I had a test in poli sci today, and I felt more confident than I did on my last test (I got a C on the last one....orz). And if that wasn't enough, we're going to see UP tomorrow!
Also, the cover of
Arashi's compilation cd that's coming out fgsdfgsdfgsd HOT~!
Toodles~☆
