We're making some progress.

Today went much better than the past few days. The post office finally redelivered my package, and I can now know that my package with my French dictionary and ice pack for my ankle did not get sent back to my mom, which would've meant that she'd have been out the 10 bucks for shipping. Plus, I need that dictionary (you could kill a man with it, it's so large) for class, and the swelling in my ankle is not improving, so I need the ice pack to try and reduce the swelling. I mean, it's a lot better than it was, seeing as I had torn ligaments, but I need it to go back to normal size or I won't be able to get a job which involves long periods of standing. I knew that I would probably lose some healing progress when I started school, since it meant I'd be doing a lot more walking, but it doesn't make the swelling less annoying. I should probably work on getting an appointment with a physical therapist.

My landline finally got fixed today, which was good. I don't really use it much, since it's a way for my mom to contact me in emergencies and check in on me if I don't check in with her (I'm a Type I diabetic), but when the service was supposed to have been set up on Monday, I was irritated that I had no dial tone. Thank you ATT repair guy for giving me a dial tone, even if it does mean I'll get wrong number calls. Hopefully I won't get debt collectors looking for someone who is not me calling me at this apartment. I had to turn my ringer off because of them, which kind've rendered the whole purpose of the landline null.

Hopefully tonight I'll make some progress on the drabble I started writing. Who it's for and what it's about is a secret.

I'm so tired of running out of milk. Maybe I should by two one-gallon jugs of it. In between cooking and cereal, I keep running out.

And holy crap I just saw Jim Carey on TV and I didn't recognize him. He's gained weight!

milk, bleh, ankle, progress
