so ... I've decided there are too many things in this world that are entirely too over rated.

1. boyfriends
2. straight edge
3. fitting in
4. sex
5. religion
6. emotions
7. death
8. some friends
9. commitment
10. anal fisting

yep. just an observation. the notwist is certainly not over rated ... thats some good stuff.

1. boyfriends are not over rated. guy friends with benefits are over rated.
2. straight edge is definitely an over rated and abused concept that is rarely even upheld in the end of ones life. hell it's just something to make people feel like they are cool if they wear "sXe" on their wrists. if you're not going to do drugs or drink you don't need a label to do it.
3. fitting in is not over rated because we all want acceptance and once we get it the feeling is good. it doesn't matter if you're accepted by one person or by a group... the feeling of acceptance is fucking great and always will be.
4. sex is over rated. oral sex is under rated.
5. religion is incredibly under rated. everywhere i look people are dropping their religion and turning atheist. i can understand at least being agnostic and acknowledging the possibility considering science has so many holes but doubting the whole belief because of a lack of scientific evidence? what the fuck is this ignorance. organized religion has done it's good and bad so i'd say it's not over rated or under rated. religion as a whole though is definitely a premise of our society that has helped form fair laws (especially in our country considering our whole constitution parallels traditional religious beliefs).
6. emotions are over rated for girls because they're allowed to be emotional and can abuse it. guys are considered pussies if they've emotional so definitely under rated there.
7. death is not over rated. suicide and self inflicted pain is over rated. every person i know fears their death and fears the end of everything that is good so i highly doubt it's over rated.
8. some friends are over rated. definitely but i'd say they're probably aquaintances if they're at the stage of under rated.
9. commitment is the most under rated concept on this fucking list kimmay. theres too many people out there that shouldn't have committed to a relationship to begin with if they had doubts about being committed to the end or they just don't believe in love. so love is under rated also. commitment is a beautiful concept but only if one is mature enough to accept how powerful the experience will be and how strong one must be to survive it. people are usually too weak to commit their feelings to someone.
10. i've never anal fisted anything or recieved it so i can't tell you how i feel about that but i'd imagine it would hurt like hell without lube so non lubed anal fisting is OVERATED!
