Yeah...Something Interesting Happened!

Well, yeah-something interesting did happen...After a phone call from Chris and Casey yesterday...we decided to get together and hangout today. At first it was going to be a simple beach trip, catch some rays-maybe do lunch.
Well that idea was short lived. We did meet up at Vanderbilt Beach...but we quickly progressed to attempting to procure watercraft. Not what I was expecting. Within a short amount of time we were able to reserve us a watercraft and were told to come back in an hour. We went back to Chris's house and messed around on Finale. We headed back Wiggins Pass Beach...and waited for the gas truck to come. Finally, with a full tank of gas, we departed for the high seas!
Incredible 35 minutes of high speeds, smooth seas...Casey fell out once...A few boats came close enough that we were able to play in their wakes. 36 minutes into it...
We just came out of a rough pass with a wave...Chris floors the gas-and nothing happens...the jetski dies...
UH-OH...........
We check the tank switch-its set on RESERVE...we flip it to MAIN-no effect...
We finally get it to start, but its barely crawling at around 5 mph...Chris decides to check under the "hood", all hands abandon ship-and we start taking the top off...Nothing seems to be out of order...so we put the top back on, and climb on...and start heading back.
After 25 minutes of absolute crawling back to the shore we get back...they can't figure out whats wrong, there best bet is that one of the pumps is broken...
But even our SOS situation included-that was an incredible trip. We are going out again!
