(no subject)
so my parents and i were talking at the dinner table about abortion and stuff and all the sudden that conversation got switched to the rapture (when God comes and takes all his people to heaven and leaves all the sinners and gives them a chance to change their ways in like 7 years but horrible things happen like natural disasters and stuff) and my dad was like i think its going to happen soon like in the next 5 or 6 years. He like seriously creeped out my mom and i and creeped out my mom to the point where she was like crying. First off this surprises me beacuse i never thought of my dad as a deeply religious person who would say something like that. He was all like whatever im ready and you guys should be too because its coming and i'm going to be alive for it. it was really weird. I think hes been reading too much into the Left Behind Books. but just the way he talked about like so nonchaluantly was really creepy. i dunno. I really would much rather live my life, you know grow up have a family that stuff then know that when i'm like 22, that tribulation period will start. Just...eh, i just dont what to say.
