GARBAGE DAY!
Yep, I'm back, and I'm really fucking bored. Don't think I need to say much else, do I?
Pulled a muscle in my chest the other day at work, so I've been more or less bed/chair ridden all day and couldn't make it in to work. That actually kinda upset me, because that's a lot of money down the tubes. Though I don't know exactly how it happened, I'm pretty sure I pulled the muscle when I was assembling this giant lamp we got in a shipment on Tuesday. That thing was enormous and weighed at least thirty pounds. Of course, I had to assemble it by myself, since through their infinite wisdom they only schedule like 5 people in the backroom.
Today hasn't been so bad though. I've just been hanging out on the internet talking to people. There isn't shit here to eat, so I've only had a few pizza rolls and a hamburger all day. I felt kind of bad because I had company last night and did little else but sit in one spot and bitch. Not that I don't do that normally, but this time was different; this time I had cause!
Glad to see most of my friends still have me listed as one as well. There are some that deleted me long ago, including missfamous, who is carries the name "Princess Merissa" despite the fact that she's only a year or two younger than I am. I wonder if she still only updates her LJ with random references to her awesomeness and completely off-the-wall news stories no one gives a damn about. Wow, she sounds like a glorified version of Chad, only without the ability to draw.
I got Facebook and MySpace since I last updated this, and only ever regularly check my Facebook. MySpace is just a blatant waste of time since no one I know ever uses it and the bulletin board is always spammed with dolts gracing us with a plethora of chain letters. I have like, 100 friends on Facebook, most of which I am still in contact with in real life. It's trying to go the route of MySpace with applications, but most of these are fucking pathetic and the creators need their asses beaten for even thinking about making them. They make your site look like shit and don't work. Wow, two incentives for the price of one!
I'm so fucking excited for games this year. Phantom Hourglass, Metroid Prime 3, Rock Band, Smash Bros. Brawl... the list goes on. There's also an Iced Earth CD, Framing Armageddon, coming out on September 11th that's going to end the world (no pun intended). Their single was badass, and if this is even half as good then I will be satisfied. Almost 20 tracks on it, which makes me very very happy indeed.
