Whoa-oa, kick a stone, I don't know what else I'm gonna do...
I dunno. Been doing some pondering. Lately I've really been into watercolors and I've colored a fair number of my sketches and am definitely going to do more. Don't get me wrong, I'm not backing out of puppetry as a career (on the contrary, I bought a new puppet yesterday; more on that in a mo'), but it's definitely a nice, relaxing hobby and a way to more fully flesh out my numerous characters (or at least get their color schemes down). So here's the burning question: should I put these watercolors on DeviantArt? I really need input on this. I am completely indecisive and your opinions count (yes, all two of you that read my LJ). If you don't think I should, I'll just Photobucket them and post them here. So please, tell me what you think.
Speaking of art, what would you call an artist who draws in a cartoon style, but doesn't draw comics or animations? And I'm not talking about anime, either, more like western animation style (Disneyesque). I'm thinking cartoonist. Wha' 'bout you?
And now, the puppet. He's a raven named Corvis. He's very eccentric and spends his time perching near people and uttering randomly philosophical phrases. His favorite word is "nevermore." I haven't really gotten a chance to use him to his fullest extent yet, 'coz it hurts when I talk right now, but when I get better I will. Really.
