I'm liking that he was all "Killing an entire race? IT WAS FORETOLD SO IT MUST BE DONE! Who am I to argue with prophecy?" when Doctor!Doctor would never have done that because it shows that they are fundamentally different.

Only because I'm really bitter about this episode - he did do just that with Donna when he killed the Spiderwoman-thing in the Christmas speeshal.

True. RTD would say that was his post-Doomsday angst/anger making him go genocidal. The Doctor that has been traveling since then, however, has tried really hard to not kill entire races. Gold star for not killing entire species!

If RTD was going out with a final "FUCK YOU", he succeeded in my eyes. I'm so ANNOYED. But really, I'm not as angry as I was, cause one) blocking the bits I don't like out of my memory and two) I can mock the hell out of it.

BUT OH MY GOD K9 MADE ME HAPPY.

It really was made for mocking, wasn't it! Is it bad that Hand!Doctor tucking in his shirt bothers me more than his existence? I can kind of glide past that when I realize he won't be showing up on the show anymore (unless the Moff comes up with an utterly brilliant plot line that requires it...in that case I hope we have Paul Bettany as Eleven by then so we don't do DoubleTennant...not that I don't utterly adore David Tennant, I just want to give the guy a break. Plus, I'm sure he and Bettany would be fantastic on screen together.

OOOO PAUL. AND HE'D BE GINGER. *FLAIL*

I'm just so bothered with the FANSERVICE of it all. I was never a Rose/Ten shipper, and whatever, I didn't care if other people liked it, but SERIOUSLY? And totally thought the same thing about Doctor II going crazy and just dying. And then I thought, "Damn, it serves Rose right."

I totally picture Paul Bettany every time I hear the name Chaucer because of "A Knight's Tale". It would be beautiful if he were Eleven and went back to meet Chaucer (played by him). Or it would be awfully confusing. But I don't care because I lurve him ( ... )

The music sounded to me like it belonged in a Star Wars movie. Very much John Williams and not so much Murray Gold.

The Doctor should have TOTALLY hung out with Sarah Jane and met Luke... especially because in my fanon, LUKE IS TOTALLY THE DOCTOR'S SON.

The scene on the beach with Rose made me laugh... a lot.

I was admittedly admiring Jackie's outfit more than focusing on the actual scene.

On that note, wouldn't seeing the Doctor trigger those memories???

I KNOW! The Doctor went through that whole explanation of how Donna would essplode if she remembered anything and, like, a second later, she waltzed into the room and I gripped the sides of my chair, because I thought she was going to freak out and die. I swear.

Ten/Caan in the TARDIS for next season. Come on.

And way to make the human Doctor a consolation prize. "You've GOT to stay here, Rose. But here's a Doctor that would be willing to bang you." Lame. Good deal, but lame.

"P.S. He's totally genocidal and broken but you fixed me when I was like that so have fun doing it again. And no, this time you don't even get adventures in time and space. Have fun kids! BYEEE!"
