btw catherine- strike that about the babysittin thing, your mom's friend and my mom sorta ended up running into each other yesterday by accident lol. my mom was supposed to drive this lady she had never met before to a meeting of some sort- to carpool, and it turned out to be her. she lives just around the corner of us actually, really close.
i babysat two little 4-year-old twins last night- who were dressed nearly identically and therefore i didnt even attempt to try to tell them apart. they were alright, but i was really behind the schedule which their mom gave me, and when they came home, i was still attempting to get them to get out of the bathtub. i learned bathtime isnt all that much fun. you get wet.
in any case, it looked like ill be babysitting for them around once a week, and i have at least two other people we've talked to here who sound like they're looking for a babysitter, and another who skelly told me might hire me. so its kinda crazy, but at least it means money- and some compensation for not being able to work last summer, or the coming one in that case.
