sisters and cars
so laura has been in mongolia for only about 2 weeks i think, but it feels like longer, but it just feels like she is in pennsylvania as usual. but in reality, something which i find both really amusing and weird-- our family of 4 is on 3 different continents.
so there is this big thing with the cream puff- you know, that cream-colored car i used to drive to school like twice a week after my dad left, and then we shipped it to laura so she could have it at school, which was fine. what wasnt was that, i still dunno all the details of what happened, but somehow, in the period of 2 weeks of having the car, they managed to get in a wreck, and it is now totaled. so now we are down a car, even though i think the girl is going to pay us the blue book price for it, and im pretty sure it goes on our insurance.
so yeah, i thought it was kinda funny, considering i drove that car at least twice a week for a few months without dinging it, and then laura's 20/21 year-old friend totals it in 2 weeks.
