I hate children, but I love children's books.

What were/are some of your favorite children's books? Also children's illustrators if you have any.
It has been, I must say, a pretty bizarre couple of weeks. Now that the snow has melted, I'm completely exhausted and I don't know why. There's a handful of people, though, who I am now better friends with. Reality tv and bagel bites brought us together. And saved us all.
With any luck, I'll fly away on the 1st, nap on the beach for a few days, see the last two friends I have in LA (Kaya: Swinger's, Thursday night.), and then drive back up to Portland in time for the library to re-open and welcome me into its loving basement's arms.
I once saw a picture of a stonehenge replica made entirely of refrigerators. It's not there any more. I'm sure it was a safety hazzard for the tourists.
Also I can't manage money to save my fucking life.
