JAZZ FEST

I went to the Detroit jazz fest yesterday. I saw DAVE BRUBECK (and the rest of his quartet) play. It was incredible. The man is 87 years old and he is still fantastic, and funny, and cool. These guys were having so much fun playing together. If I'm able to be doing something that I'm that passionate about at 87, then I will be a very happy woman. Before that I saw two of the Brubeck sons play, and a few student groups, all were very good. I met Evan and Josh Blanchard (+some of Josh's friends) at around 3, but before that I was by myself. This guy named Patrick was hitting on me and asked if I wanted a beer...he was probably at least 30. At the time it was terribly akward, but once I got away and found the Blanchards is made quite a funny story. All in all, a very successful day.

Today I sang at church...3 times as part of a trio. Then I had lunch with Dad, Ann, Derek, and the grandparents, which was alright as far as that side of the family usually goes. Then I went to my stepcousins' house, which was very fun. They have a pool, so we swam and then played Super Smash Brothers Melee with Mr. Game and Watch on super sudden death mode. Yeah, only my family.

I don't get the male gender. I'm kinda confused about someone right now...he's terribly hard to read. Le sigh.

I want to go to school.
