Steph's Crazy Update
So yes, it looks like I'm moving a lot actually.
By Dec 1, I'll be living in NJ with Taras and our friend Frank in Frank's house. He was living with Taras in the apartment as his roommate until he found a house to buy. They turned out to be such good roommates that Taras is moving in with Frank to da house. I'll just be moving in too.
No big deal. It's not like I've got stuff anymore or anything.
Then By Feb 1 (or so), I'll be moving to Biloxi, Mississippi to live with Taras. He got orders and will be teaching at Keesler AFB. It's right there on the coast. Yay beach. Yay hurricanes. Yay. He did not volunteer for this assignment btw.
Before ppl ask, no, I didn't even blink when he told me about his orders. Why?
1) I love the man
2) I was going to live with him in NJ anyway, so whatever
3) I'm not really doing anything else...honestly, he's my most stable piece in my life
And don't ask about marriage. We're not there yet, but it's been talked about. Kinda hard to go to a couple of them, as he's been the best man 3 TIMES now, without talking about it at least once. I mean sure, it might be nice, but we don't need to be married to be happy. Although, with military life it might be easier at some point...meh.
Off that subject!
I've been PAing (Production Assistant) for awhile now. I've worked on TV shows, a theatrical film, commercials (print and video), a music video, and some HBO stuff. I worked a day at a film festival. I've made some really cool friends up in NYC. I'm going to miss them.
Then I'm going to miss the whole East Coast.
However, we will be living within a day's drive of:
Taras' parents in Texas ~9 hrs
OneUps in Arkansas ~11 hrs
Pensacola, Florida ~2 hrs
New Orleans, Louisiana ~2 hrs
Robert in Tennessee ~10 hrs
Well, maybe we'll fly or I'll learn how to 'drive' a plane...heh.
Been playing a bunch of video games again in my free time. It's kinda nice to have free time. I had almost forgotten and now I'm getting used to it. Been watching tons of anime and old Southpark episodes too. Man, I'm spoiled.
Um, yeah. Guess I'll have a party at Frank's or something before I move. I'll try to visit ppl as much as I can before I'm lost to the mostly southern midwest...or wherever it's called...
