my stupid asthma decided to make an appearance last night. in my usual stubborn dislike of taking medication i lay around in bed for about another 20 minutes trying to stop the asthma by just concentrating on my breathing. after a while of coughing continuously and feeling like my chest was gonna implode i decided i needed an inhaler and had to steal my mum's coz i had no idea where any of mine were(coz my asthma is really mild and i hardly get attacks and i'm in denial of having it). about 10 minutes after taking my inhaler i felt fine again(tired but fine). i'm always surprised at how fast my inhaler actually works(or that it works at all)...

considering i'm a science student i really should have more faith in medicine...
i have been aided by many a medications throughout my life:
morphine(collarbone fracture)
panadeine-forte(collarbone fracture)
ventolin(asthma)
effexor(depression)
flurazepam(trouble sleeping)
scabies cream(victim of The Big Queer Scabies Outbreak of 2002)
various antibiotics and immunisations
local anesthetics

i've gotta say the scabies cream was the most fun treatment of all. covering yourself from head to bottom-of-feet in cream before bed and then showering in the morning to wash off the cream is an experience i'll never forget. also don't think that i will forget the itching and the fact that i had little mites setting up house under my skin!!!! ergh!

ps. Monchi, remember standing naked in that dark room while i put the cream on you. and we were at your dad's place and we were praying your dad(or anyone else) wouldn't choose that moment to walk into the room coz it would have looked oh so bad! heheheh
