Writer's Block: B.Y.O.B. Holidays
My favorite movie ever is Love Actually and because it's set around Christmas-time, it's also a go-to movie for the holidays. Also in the chick flick genre is The Holiday. Both of these movies are in my DVD collection and both are watched routinely.
Now, for the must-see holiday movies of this 2011 holiday season, there are two:
1) Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows
Robert Downey Jr. & Jude Law <3. I've been waiting for this one since the first one.
2) New Year's Eve
A bunch of A-list actors/actresses thrown into a cheesy plot line and deemed a "best ever" chick flick... Kind of sounds like Valentine's Day? Also written by people who worked on Valentine's Day and has actors/actresses who were in Valentine's Day. I don't know - I just like the multiple story lines thing, as you can see from the two movies above, Love Actually and The Holiday.
