Goal 1: Try to write at least a paragraph in my LJ daily.
Today it really will be just a paragraph because I am tired, it is cold, and I have a lovely warm bed with blankets and graphic novels on it that are all calling my name.
My brother is awesome. He fixed my car horn, my car heater (praise the Up Above, as I could no longer bear the constant air-conditioning that flowed from it so that I could have a defrosted window) and my car window, in addition to the warping board that I bought for Christmas. It was way too big, and rather than drive to BFE to have the guy fix it, my brother did it in half an hour. Love my brother Dave. Also, his son is literally the cutest kid in the world. Today he told me that I drove a "Chevy bowtie" because that is how he recognizes that particular car type. Apparently he knows Dodge, Chevy, and Ford, and according to my brother is "working on the imports." I love my family.
I bought a vaccuum and am looking forward to my floor being wool-bit free tomorrow morning. As I was at Wal-Mart (we don't have any within comfortable driving distance in Portland), I also bought comfy workout clothes (did you know sports bras do not have to make you look like uni-boob?), Tupperware, obscenely cheap bathroom soap, and Season 1 of both Buffy and Angel because that was the only season of Buffy I did not have and you could not buy them individually. No complaints here- Doyle is teh hotness.
I have decided to start my year in earnest tomorrow and declare that today was just a practice day.
Bed. Space heater. Graphic novels. MMMMMMMMM.
