It's terrible. He was awesome and I really wanted to see him succeed, but I did also remember his campaign not doing well in the books either. That scene was heartbreaking. But Bran's story of the gods not forgiving the man who killed his guest (the rat man?) soon after gives me hope of his death being avenged.
Of course. I love Arya and Bran and Daenerys, and I am looking forward to seeing what happens to them as well as that boy - King Robert's bastard son.
I loved Game of Thrones for most of the series, but the ending was a huge disappointment. Most of the fandom was very upset about it. It ruined the show for me.
But it isn't just about who dies in the end. It's that they made it so most of these characters behave in a way that doesn't match the character development from before. There's no proper payoff for the storylines that had been building for years. It turns heroes into villains for no other reason than shock value. Who gets the Iron Throne at the end makes no sense. Pretty much every storyline at the end is twisted in ways that make no sense. I'm left feeling like it was all pointless. And they completely destroyed my favorite character.
*hugs* I'm so sorry you had to go through the Red Wedding :( It was heartbreaking, and I remember the same feeling when I was reading than when I was watching, the horror of Arya being so close yet not being able to see her mom and brother again :(
The Red Wedding was heartbreaking. Overall though I loved GOT. The ending wasn't what I expected and somewhat disappointing, but evidently not enough to keep me from watching it all again.
It was terrible. Gah. So shocking and heartbreaking. Well done though. I had to go spoil myself on who survives so I wouldn't have to go through it again.
