What's Up?
Life has been stressful, although nothing terrible has happened since the anniversary last month. It's just my state of mind. My stomach is constantly clenched. I think I might also have an infection after my checkup and pap smear at the Obgyn. The young male doctor told me I should stop taking the pill because hey, I was pretty much 50 and should be menopausal. Rude. But I had to concur when he insisted it could cause vein blockage and became more dangerous with older women.
Sunday I didn't have any choir practice so I just watched TV all day. Since finishing "Saving Hope," which finished on a typically Canadian note - meaning, it was happy but melancholy - I took a break for a few days from TV then went on to watch "Jane The Virgin" on Netflix, which was nice and comedic - hilarious! Just what I needed. Season 2 is getting a bit frustrating and again I feel like throttling the main character like I did with "Saving Hope." They are really drawing out the drama.
Actually come to think of it, the situation is almost exactly the same as "Saving Hope," except I am now rooting for the 2nd guy instead of the 1st guy the girl broke off the engagement with. But of course, she finally goes back to the first one.
I have "Cursed" in my watch list and watched one season of that. It looks good, but there is no comedy there, which is why I stopped and went back to "Jane" for a bit. Now I feel like watching Cursed again. There is only one season so it might be a good break.
Audrey is having her first end of semester exams this week. I hope she does at least average so she can have more confidence in her studies. Julian is doing exams online. Alex seems to still be busy with homework. He is studying Othello and some other very interesting texts which I am helping him decipher.
We got some fish. Hubby loves watching them, and Audrey is enjoying it too.
We may be over the rainy season. It was raining everyday last week, and finally we had a sunny day on Sunday, and today the weather seems to be holding as well. YAY!
