You were supposed to pick a number for me to answer, but I answered them all just for the fun of it :)

1. What is your favourite book and/or book series of all time?
Outlander-everything I need in a book.
2. What is the longest book you have ever read? How many pages?
War and Peace (560,000 words), if we're talking novels.
3. What is the oldest book you have ever read? (Based on its written date) Well... the Bible I guess? I have read it all and the Old Testiment is some of the oldest literature around. It would also be the longest book I've read I guess. I've read some Chinese philosophies, History of the Peloponnesian War by Thucydides, Plato, Odyssey, The Tale of Genji, Beowolf, Canterbury Tales...
4. What is a book series that everyone else loves but you do not? No idea what "everyone else" loves LOL
5. What book or book series would you like to see turned into a film/ TV series?
Don't like to ruin books and don't trust film makers not to.
6. What is your favourite stand-alone book?
I don't know. I like a lot of books.
7. What is a book that you feel glad for not reading?
Why would anyone feel glad for not reading something? If you haven't read it, how do you know if you are better off not reading it?
8. What is a book that you feel guilty for not reading?
The one I have started reading and haven't finished. A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith

Books by Akagawa Jiro
10. What is a book that you own more than one copy of?
Kids books that I lend out, like Brown Bear, Brown Bear by Eric Carle. I also had a few copies of some of the Wheel of Time and Game of Thrones because I couldn't keep track of what I had and didn't have LOL But I got rid of those.
11. What horror book made you really scared?
Parts of The Dark Tower series by Stephen King - the doors, the crabs, the train... thrilling.
12. What book do you passionately hate?
Don't have one, but in general, dry history books written by those with no imagination.
13. What is the biggest book series you have read? How many books are in it?
I think maybe that would be the Wheel of Time. 14 novels. ... Nope. Definitely the Nancy Drew series. More than 50 novels in the old series.
14. What book gives you happy memories?
Too many, but the Narnia series is high up there.
15. What book made you cry?
Little Women and series. Also Outlander.
16. What book made you laugh?
John Irving - According to Garp and others.
17. What is your favourite book that contains an LGBTQ+ character?
I have read a lot of fanfic but I can't think of any actual books.
18. Have you read a book with a male protagonist? What is it?
Omens is one I haven't mentioned yet.
19. Have you read a book set on another planet? What is it?
Dune is one I have good memories of.
20. Have you ever been glad to not finish a series? Which? No. I wondered if I should even read the last two books of the Wheel of Time because they were by a different writer, but it seemed like a waste if I didn't. I'm glad I did.
21. Have you ever read a book series because you were pressured?
No.
22. What famous author have you not read any books by?
I don't know. Quite a few probably.
23. Who is your favourite author of all time?
Stephen King
24. How many bookshelves do you own? 2 of my personal books I guess.
25. How many books do you own? Never counted. More than 100
26. What is your favourite non-fiction book? British History books by Alison Weir. Very well written! Also Roman History books by Nanami Shiono
27. What is your favourite children’s/middle-grade book? Neverending Story is one. Narnia is another.

29. What book are you currently reading?See no. 8 above.
30. What book are you planning on buying next?I have two books to read at the moment so don't know yet, but I might finally start reading another LJ friend's novels.
31. What was the cheapest book you bought? Probably Harlequin books I bought at a garage sale long ago.
32. What was the most expensive book you bought? A picture book on the Tsars of Russia, possibly.
33. What is a book you read after seeing the movie/ TV series? Darren Shan
34. What is the newest book you have bought? The above two I mentioned.
35. What three books are you most looking forward to reading this year? The above two - the third is undecided.
36. What is a book you love that has a terrible trope? (Love triangle, etc) Twilight maybe? I haven't read it in a while.
37. Have you read a book in a different language? What was it?Nanami Shiono and Jiro Akagawa books were read in Japanese.
38. What is a book you’ve read that is set in a time period before you were born? Little House on the Prairie is a series I haven't mentioned yet.

40. What is the weirdest book you have read? The Temple of the Golden Pavilion by Yukio Mishima Great Expectations by Charles Dickens.
41. What is your favourite duology? The Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings?
42. What is your favourite trilogy?The Lord of the Rings
43. What book did you buy because of its cover? Picture books like Norman Rockwell but also probably Outlander - I was into Scottish romances at the time I found it, and the plaid was what drew me to it. The Dark Tower covers are nice too.
44. What is a book that you love, but has a terrible cover? There are many terrible covers. One of the Outlander books is very boring, one color, light blue with no decoration whatsoever. Don't like that one in particular.
45. Do you own a poetry anthology? What is your favourite poem from it? I do have several. Roland to the Dark Tower Came is one I remember well. I've done several readings of others I like. One called the Next Time by Mark Strand.
46. Do you own any colouring books based off other books? No. Don't like coloring much.
47. Do you own any historical fiction? Quite a few as mentioned above. I have Robin Hood, the Three Musketeers, Queen Margot to name a few more.

49. What book has inspired you? On Writing by Stephen King
50. What book got you into reading? The Nancy Drew books were the first that I started reading obsessively
