Gadreel was not malicious when inside Sam.

I'm so glad we heard this from Sam. It's what I've felt all along, and I love that it was confirmed.

It doesn't make sense to me that Abbadon would consent to Dean bringing the blade to her. ???

That's a good point. I think she assumed that Dean was no match for her, especially if taken by surprise.

Yes, I am glad Sam knew about Gadreel too. I'm thinking we are going to have Gadreel change sides and we will have a confession (hopefully including exactly what he did to let Lucifer in to the garden) before he dies. Something that will redeem him in Sam's eyes - and maybe even redeem Dean too.

Maybe Abbadon was counting on Sam being there too:P Thinking about her last encounter with Cain - she would have been killed if not for her possessing his wife.

I think Dean tapping his shoulder with the blade was him asking crowley what happened. I'm glad he lied to Sam and went up there alone. I'm sure Abbadon would've tried to possess Sam like she did with Cain's wife. Yay for Dean having powers! I love love love Dark!Dean. Can't wait to see more of the effects the blade is having on him.

I hope they don't wrap up the Mark of Cain this season. I really want them to bring it into season 10. I'm hoping they really go there and let Dean get pretty dark. Like King of Hell dark.

Yes hellatus is going to be very long. I at least got the Dallas Convention to look forward to since it's during hellatus.
