14-14 Ouroboros Thoughts, Screencaps and Poll!

Poll SPN 14-14 Ouroboros
Wow. I'm going to put this ep down as awesome because I enjoyed all of the scenes.
First, the meaning of the title: Ouroboros
"a circular symbol depicting a snake, or less commonly a dragon, swallowing its tail, as an emblem of wholeness or infinity."
I didn't know the name, but I know the symbol. That's the symbol used in Neverending Story except that one is a double ouroboros with two snakes:) So what do you think it means in Supernatural?? I wonder if we'll figure it out in eps to come.
The monster was also really interesting - so he sees the future by eating people's eyes?
I hope the snake comes into play again somehow.
It bothered me a bit that Sam kept trying to hide from Rowena how they saved Jack. Why? What could she do and why would she do anything to ruin it or use it for evil means? After all she has done to help them? Why not show some faith?
SAM: Jack is alright. You don’t need to worry.
ROWENA: I’m also curious as to how your brother is managing to keep an Archangel locked away in his mind.
SAM: Because he’s Dean and Dean is Dean. He’s fine.
We have Sam's super confidence in Dean LOL Dean is Dean! XD But this is important maybe because we find out what "fine" actually means to a Winchester in the next scene.
DEAN: I’m fine.
CAS: I can’t imagine the will power it’s taking to keep Michael imprisoned.
Jack is coughing up blood again in the bathroom ... Does that mean he doesn’t have enough grace? And how did he cure himself there with his fingertips? With his soul power? And would he have died if he hadn’t done what he did to Michael? Is he cured now because of it?
CAS Are you really fine?
DEAN: I don’t know Cas, but that’s what I’m supposed to say right? I’m fine, and keep on moving. ...There’s a pounding in my head and it never stops. Michael is in there and he’s fighting hard to get out.
CAS: That’s not sustainable.
DEAN: No, no probably not.
Dean also says that he is not getting much sleep and that he has to be constantly on guard. Which prepares us for what happens when he gets knocked out. Finally someone understands how hard it is for Dean. I have this funny feeling Sam really didn't. How could he ask Dean to "believe in them" otherwise? And then take him on hunts to get "his mind off" of it? It sounded beautiful and touching when he said it and I was touched all over again when they showed that scene at the beginning of this ep, but...now it seems like a selfish and irrisponsible request.
CAS: Are you alright?
JACK: I’m fine.
DEAN: Hey, see, look at that. Everybody’s fine.
Dean somehow knows Jack is not fine?
JACK: Anyone who could do this is a monster, even if they are human.
DEAN: The kid’s not wrong.
Cas's "Is this amusing to you?" to the police officer is interesting especially because of the frank answer by the officer that he was just confused because he'd never seen anything like it.
I LOVE that little acting by Sam and Rowena at the vet LOL!!!!!!! Seriously, I laughed so much both times I watched it. I also love that sign "I ♥ Puppies" XD
I love Jack being turned into the pup :D<3
VET: You’re the sweetest boy aren’t you?

I LOVE the vet going to the front room and finding it empty, then to the back and THAT’s empty too LOL What she must have been thinking XD
JACK: Just wish I could have got it before she took my temperature.

I love that Jack is the one that decapitated the monster.

JACK: I hate seeing him like that. He’s going to be ok, right? I mean it’s Dean. He… It was a fight. It was just a fight.
CAS:Everytime we go out there, there is always a risk
JACK:I can’t think about losing him or Sam or you. I hate thinking about it.
CAS:Yeah, so do I. But Jack, you know Sam and Dean, they’re human. And they’re very extraordinary, brave special humans, but they’re still humans and humans burn bright but for a very brief time compared to you know, things like us. And eventually they’re gone, even the very best ones and we have to carry on. It’s ust part of growing up.
JACK: Losing people?
CAS: Yes.
JACK: What’s the point?...What’s the point of being a cosmic being if everyone that I care about is just going to leave?
CAS:The point is that they were here at all, and you got to know them.
When they’re gone, it will hurt but that hurt will remind you of how much you loved them.
JACK:That sounds… awful.
CAS: It is. But that’s also living. So when Dean wakes up and he will wake up, we just have to remember to appreciate the time we have together now.

JACK: Rowena said that the Gorgons can see people’s fate. And Noah said that he could see me. That story… what does it mean?
CAS: It’s a story about greed mostly but I guess it’s also about being willing to give up the thing you love in order to destroy the thing you hate.
Dean blaming himself for Michael getting out, telling them they should have put him in the coffin… :( They really made a big mistake by taking him on this hunt anyway. If he has to be on the alert all the time just to keep Michael locked in, you know? *headpalm*
I love Rowena being sure that she wasn’t going to die of Michael because Sam was going to kill her. I wonder if that destiny hasn’t changed.
Also, Rowena caring for the boys :‘’’’)
I wonder why the Gorgon knew Dean’s name...
JACK:I’m the son of Lucifer, I’m a hunter, and I’m a Winchester.
GAHHHH :’’’’’( I LOVE that he calls himself a Winchester because he is. With his “I’m fine” when he’s not, and sacrificing himself for everyone.
JACK: I'm me again.
Gorgon wasn’t sure if Jack was the snake or the egg… the snake is greedy and kills everything, the egg is the sacrifice that saves the mommy chicken. So… Jack is like the egg because he sacrifices his grace for the others, but he could also be seen as the one that wanted the grace/power who swallowed Michael like the snake swallowed the egg. Is he going to find out that he has swallowed a boiled egg in Michael, choke and die? Or some other parallel like, he becomes a snake after because he doesn't have a soul? Interesting to think about.
I do think they will get Jack back somehow.
Also everyone in the bunker is dead except the four and Rowena. RIP Maggie.
