Hehehe! Wow... a very difficult ep to rate. I enjoyed the first watch and I am looking forward to what will happen next so that is good right? So glad Garth is still alive! Also if drinking Michael's grace makes Michael able to control you, then it is possible Jack is in the situation IF Michael got Jack to drink his grace (the "cure" he drank which supposedly had Gabriel's grace). Not sure exactly what the situation was with Dean - Michael did leave Dean, right? So the woman falling to the side was just the body falling after the grace entered Dean? I wasn't sure because it wasn't really clear. I thought there was a possibility Michael was in hiding inside Dean. But, he actually left keeping part of his grace inside Dean so that he could come back at any time? I was thinking anyway that there is always a residue left in the possessed person but maybe this was more than that so that Michael could also keep track of what Dean was up to and could spy on him - for example last week when he had those dizzy spells.
I knew that Michael-Dean would be back, because Jensen did say that Michael would be around a lot more than anyone would assume. So that was no shocker. The question was how that was going to happen. Some people also speculated from the preview that most likely everything was going to go terribly wrong this ep so I was prepared for that too, unfortunately - but come on! Boys! You are smarter than that! I mean did they really think that Michael was so dumb as to tell all his plans within hearing of Garth without a trap in mind?
And when Cas and Dean were going to the warehouse, Cas was talking about Dean being happy and not caring if his music worked or not -- so that made me wonder if Dean was actually Michael at that point, but maybe he was being controlled somehow? Letting Dean go to get the spear was what Michael wanted ... so Michael was definitely controlling him, maybe even from the time Dean tried to force it from Kaia in the cabin. Making Sam and Dean separate was probably also on the plan.
Do you think the information about Michael from Naomi was also according to Michael's plan? Probably not intentionally... she did try to save Cas. Michael talks about pitching the monsters against humans instead of sending a garrison, but why is he not using the angels at all this time? Or is he?
So now the spear is broken and the monsters are going to start changing people as Michael-Dean snaps his fingers. The only people who can do anything about it are Cas and Sam. Question... why didn't Michael kill Sam? Because Sam by himself was too weak to do anything anyway? That's why he doesn't kill Jack... Or is there some other reason? Does he want to change Sam??

So... now I'm thinking Ketch himself has been bought by Michael. Ketch didn't really care which side he was on as long as he was winning, right? And that trick to heal Jack also came through Ketch.

Dean gets the spear from Kaia. Michael says that Dean cared too much for his family so that he was rejecting Michael's control Dean uses that caring side to get the spear from Kaia. Kaia also has people she feels responsible for. I think she might come to their rescue. I wonder if the spear can be fixed.
Dean's vision gets blurry again and Michael steps back into Dean.
Hmmmm... very difficult. I think maybe I'll be putting it as "Great" because everything was so predictable but I loved the guys. Sam, Dean, Jack and Cas all had their moments. Michael Dean shocking Sam was priceless too - even though as Michael said, he should have questions why Michael let Dean go and made sure to keep some things secret from Dean just in case. I wonder if he did and we are going to see some of that next ep. I really hope Sam had a contingency plan.
