Rewatching Season 10<3
About a Boy -I had some time with the house to myself and I just laughed my way through this ep pretty much. This was a great episode to watch solo. Sam this ep, his reactions to Dean as a young teen was HILARIOUS.
One thing I noticed that I don't remember remarking on before was Teen!Dean wiping the mirror in the witch's basement to look at himself in the mirror. WONDERFUL parallel to him wiping the mirror to see how he's changed with the Mark in other eps! Here Dean turns himself back into older Dean in order to save everyone and this time around I really saw that darkness that is the Mark seeping through as he stuffed that pouch into the witch's mouth and stuffed HER into the oven. I do think that if he was thinking at all, he could have turned the girl back as well before attacking the witch. Also, I KNOW that Rowena would have had a spell to turn Dean back to his younger self and avoid the Mark. I don't know why Sam never thought of that. They didn't have to turn Dean back into his teens either, just a year younger would have done it. Anyway, what's done is done unfortunately. LOVE Dean leaving Shake it Off on as they ride away - I wonder if that's where those girls got the idea for the parody? :D
