You can ignore me now as I reminisce a little...
I loved listening to musical story records when I was a kid. I used to have a storyboard record - a real, big one of Cinderella and I remember listening to that and singing along a lot. I also had a record of a kids adaptation of John Bunyan's Pilgrim's Progress and I can still sing the alphabet backwards thanks to that. I also used to have The Music Machine record (OH MY GOD THE WHOLE ALBUM IS ON YOUTUBE :')) and I can sing a little song on
patience from that record still as well. A record on the story of Meshach Shadrach Abednego called It's Cool in the Furnace if you know your old testament... I can sing most of the songs from that one too. I just looked on Youtube and found that it's quite a popular musical play for churches in the States. Not all the music was religious though. My mom and I also used to sing together on the piano. Favorites from those are The Wizard of Oz (especially Somewhere over the Rainbow) and Sound of Music(Especially My favorite Things). One of my and my bff's favorite movies was Mary Poppins. I could probably recite the whole movie for you, as well as the songs but one of my favorites there is
A Spoonful of Sugar. I love Let's Go Fly a Kite too!! And I love the dancing in this one!Dick van Dyke is brilliant!

In junior high and high school I got into the choir and band so I was into a lot of classical music, but a friend who went to the states brought back a tape of music off the radio and I liked a lot of those. The ones I remember the most are of Chicago - It's Hard to Say I'm Sorry, You're the Inspiration and many others... Amazing voices&music<3 Still love it. I must have secretly watched Dirty Dancing with my sister sometime around here...
