Oh Lordy! Look at all those gorgeous pictures. *drools* Thank you ever so much. The Gods were certainly in our favor when Sam was chosen to play Jamie.

I apologize for being so late in thanking you. As you know, I have satellite Internet and it doesn't like bad weather. We've had heavy rain since the evening of May 10 and all I was able to do was a few emails between downpours. I had a lot of trouble connecting to LJ.

Now I have to apologize for missing your birthday. You're so far ahead of New Hampshire that it's no longer your birthday in Japan. I see you've posted about it and I'll read that. I hope it was a very Happy Birthday. I promise I'll post a very special greeting for you next year...God and the Internet willing.

Thanks again. You're a real sweetheart. *biggest hugs*

I'm so glad you enjoyed the post<3 He sure is bonny :D

Good. I was hoping it was internet problems or some awesome birthday celebrations :DDD I'm having internet problems too at the moment - our new router is not working very well and it is quite frustrating. Hope you did something nice with the hubby <3<3

You'll laugh when I tell you. I spent the day sitting on a stool beside hubby, drinking coffee, reading a magazine and being at his beck and call. He was doing some rewiring of our TV and satellite system (we have satellite TV, too) and I was serving as his "go for." Go get me this....hand me that....hold this.... You get the picture, I'm sure.

But it was a relaxing day for me...not so much for him though. LOL

LOL YAY for relaxing!

If that were me and mine, I'd be the one fixing the satellite ... would he be at my beck and call? nah. probably complaining the whole time that the TV STILL didn't work and why did he have to turn off his only working TV for me to fix the connection??! That's how he has been for the router anyway. Electronics is not his thing.

But with regard to major cleaning... our positions are reversed. Get me a pail... bring me this, bring me that... vacuum this part... "coming!"

LOL

Electronics is not his thing.

It is definitely my husband's "thing." He graduated from Yale with degrees in engineering and architectural design. He's VERY good with anything electronic and especially wiring. He has everything here set up with all the wires labeled, has made diagrams of all the connections, and it's totally beyond my ability to understand. If anything happens to him, I'd have to hire a professional to do everything. I don't like working with anything electrical.

Yikes, that's a bit of a problem too. My husband does all the finances for the school and home so that's what I'm worried about trying to figure out if anything happens to him :P

You may recall that last year my husband went into the hospital on February 1 for 11 days, then was in a rehab facility until the end of March. He does all our finances and has everything set up on his computer for electronic payments of everything. I have my own desktop, laptop, printer, etc. and had never even so much as turned on his computer. I knew nothing about using Quiken and knew nothing about how he'd set up the e-payments. We had many phone conversations with him in a bed somewhere and me on his computer while he talked me through how to do everything. I also had to read him his emails and answer many of them. It was quite the learning experience.

It's not that I couldn't do all of this; I did it before I was married, but I'm happy to let him do it. He likes it and is very good at it so I figured why not let him handle it.
