Yesterday was an awesome day.
Part 1
I met thelaendler to go to the Army Market at Beach Road.
And we got lost!!! D:
We were walking around in the sweltering heat and finally finally managed to find it after getting off at the wrong busstop and looking like a suaku looking for the right one.
Buuut, I managed to buy my backpack! YAY!!
And then we went over to Orchard by means of the Circle Line! (YAY!)
and we I shopped and bought alot of stuff (as usual in preparation for my loong trip)
And then I went to do my brows at Browhaus at Wheelock.
They have much more customers here as compared to Holland V, but they are not as pushy when it comes to signing up for packages.
I had a great time with Nadia hanging out and talking and talking about everything under the hot sun.

Interlude
I went over to Ion where I once again got reeled into The Body Shop's sale tactics.
As I was walking out I saw birthday-girl Laila from NUS! I was kinda like o.O cos what are the odds??
The funniest thing was that Valenie (who was one of the persons I was supposed to meet) was just behind her.
And because Laila was right in front, I only saw Laila and my eyes widened and Val thought I saw her and started waving to me.
And the next thing she knew, I was hugging Laila.
LOL.
Part 2
Valenie, ebigill and I went to eat at some Japanese restaurant whose name I can't for the life of me remember..
I think it starts with W, and I went to eat there with my Dad once and curlywurlyswirl said she likes the restaurant..
Okay.
And then we talked and talked and had lots of fun making Abby talk as much as possible.
We also unveiled our failed Match-Making plans to her.
And then we went to the red seats outside Ion and talked somemore.
It's a really nice place to hang out!
Someone beside us started smoking and we were like blehh
But then 5 seconds later, a security lady asked her to stop.
Then Val actually said Awesome! and griiinned at the lady, and the lady smiled back. HAHAHA.
I'm sure these security people love to be affirmed for the jobs they do, instead of being given dirty looks all the time.
Just as we were about to go home, we discovered these cool Your Singapore photo things. (pics on Facebook)
They were totally innovative and awesome and we had soo much fun taking funny photos of ourselves!
The only downer was that I was dressed so cui-ly. Totally unsuitable for coming down the runway!
But we had a great time :)

And then I came home super late,
And managed to settle all my phonecalls, which just made me relieved.
Also managed to talk somemore to my friends online.
Felt very happy-tourist because I was wearing a tshirt, shorts, slippers, bangles, and carried a backpack.
Which was kinda a new and exciting experience to me.
I kinda felt free-er. No idea why. (Maybe also cos I haven't been to town since February)
Yep, so that was my fantastic and wonderful day.
Now I'm gonna go meet my dad and we are going down to Funan to get me my new camera! :)
