A Fantasy RPG way to do real housework...

Sounds interesting, and may make housework slightly more tolerable. Probably great if you have kids you can convince it is a good thing. :)

That thing is addicting & fun. And if you feel like playing, captain_slinky has a party going already, as well as a lj community house_of_slinky....

I officially invite you to join The House of Slinky!

So far we haven't got any kids, but we're closing in on double-digits worth of members! And it is SO FUN to get XP for what you usually do for free!

We could even add a special quest for traveling all the way to Tukwilla! You'l be of Legendary Level in NO TIME!!!

A Quest for traveling to Tukwilla would be cool! I couldn't claim it though until I was back. Doing good deeds in distant lands maybe? Before I knew you had a party I had started to try and make one up myself, and oddly enough I called a few almost exactly the same thing you did! The main difference was the monsters. For cooking I had "Ravenous Beasts,Charcoal Monster". For Dishes I had "The Spoon Stealer,Spiny beast(sharp pointy things),Grime Pool,Clog Monster,Mr Bubbles". For vacuuming I called it "Surviving the Vacuum of Space" and the rewards were "Loose String,Toy Parts,Ball Of Fuzz,Glitter,Satisfaction" and the monsters "Fuzz Ball,Dust Bunnies,Yapping Dog". For cleaning the bathroom the monsters were "Drain Scum,Wet Hair Gob,Toilet Monster,Mr Bubbles,Random Family Member in Need". The one you really need to add though, is for going to work. I definitely need some extra incentive for that. :) I called it The Endless Quest, or Paid Monotony, the rewrds were "Fiery Sword,Shield of Mediocrity,Armored Uniform,Tome of Learning, ( ... )

I set up a household just for me, in order to have a fun way to track my self-care.
