(no subject)
So I was bored and added Visual Bookshelf to my facebook, and then went through 120 pages of books to add. I kept going because I knew there were more books that I had read that hadn't even begun to be hinted at. They also need an option that is "started it and intend to try again" and "started it and have no intention of ever picking it up because I hated it hardcore." Because technically, I haven't already read it, may want to read it, but maybe not, and I have given up on enough books but intend to try again, I don't want to say that I am currently reading it if I haven't actually tried in over 5 years.
I've read a lot of books. I was also using the "no shame" method of admitting to reading things. Yes, I read all of those Stephen King and Anne Rice books. I was unemployed for a year. They have good (or sometimes just good enough) stories. Better than a lot of the garbage that gets published that is supposed to be "important modern literature."
