I've been looking for an alternative to my backpack recently. It's pretty old, but mostly it just looks like I'm on my way to class, not on my way to a sweet start-up.
I think some sort of laptop bag or messenger bag is the way to go, but I can't decide. Or rather, I can decide, but I can't justify the cost of this one:
http://www.chromebags.com/products/bags/show/13/. It's got tons of room, but not too big, it looks awesome, and it's waterproof (for the rare occasions I'm caught in the rain... with... important documents?)
But it's $110.
I'm 24 hours into the wait-a-few-days-and-see-if-you're-still-thinking-about-it challenge, and it still looks flippin sweet. Thoughts, anyone?
In related news, I also got a cheap cloth one for 17 on amazon. But it's pretty hipster and also pretty thin. And not water proof. On the plus side, it's the one Jack Bauer uses on 24, which I was addicted to a couple years back. (Watched 3 episodes, or 3 seasons x 24 episodes x 40mins each, in 3 days.) There is apparently an entire internet community built around "Jack Pack"s which I'm a little afraid to delve into. Possibly another reason for the upgrade?
