"More Guitars!" Oh, Conan. Btw, that is Jason Collett on the left dressed entirely in black and w/ the black guitar. At first I couldn't figure out if it was Feist and Emily Haines or Feist and some other chick because the video is kind of blurry, but the robot dancing near the end leads me to believe it is the former. Only Haines throws down like that. Sound quality kind of sucks too. <3 Internet, <3.
Also a reminder, Sigur Ros is on Conan tonight..so you kiddies better stay up! I don't want any of this 'oh no I didn't feel like staying up to see only the coolest artists to ever come out of Iceland --and hell yes they are better than Bjork --play on Conan Business. It'll be swell. I just got the strangest memory of my seventh grade gym teacher (also my seventh grade drama teacher -yay cutbacks!), Mr. Clark coming over the PA to say something to the effect of, "Be there or be a rhombus".
I got an interview at The Great Canadian Superstore! yeah! My dad loved the irony of me being interviewed for the produce section. It is the first step in this whole Calgary thing, so that's cool.
It is such a Ted Leo kinda day. Bright, a bit chilly...but let's face it, any day is a good Ted Leo day. Except Valentine's Day --but let's not get into that.
