Although I am tempted to write about my Sunday night (coffee with stranger, buying milk for bartenders and playing Texas Hold'em poker), I'll instead tell you that Hard Candy is a really, really good movie, and if you get the chance you should go see it. Brilliant performances, thought provoking script, very interesting cinematography. I'm sure that if I tried hard enough and thought long enough I could find numerous flaws with it, but I don't want to. Its existence in my head right now is that of utter (disturbed) perfection and I want it to stay that way.
