So I was planning on making this vid for a while and when I got word of poisontaster’s bday I figured wow good excuse to finish it for that deadline and to maybe give her as a gift for her awesome stories in this fandom…
So here’s the first contribution to my Sam at Stanford series entitled "Joe College"…

I have taken complete creative license with Sam and Jess’s past and relationship so basically here’s the low down.
Sam Winchester’s 6 months old when his life as he knows it ends. He can’t even remember it, but he remembers it beginning again. Sam’s 20 years old when he slams the door on his family, when he leaves behind the only life he’s ever known, when he arrives at Stanford, to a new life, a new love and a chance to begin all over again…
Sam’s been at Stanford a week, a week of panic, and loneliness and a total sense of loss, a week without his family, a week with just the rocksalt lining the windows and the endless reading lists stretched out before him. In the second week he joins the College football team and in week three he meets Jess. Jessica Lee Moore is 19 years old, she’s beautiful, confident but unfortunately dating the College football star Dwayne Saunders.
Sam’s not the type to go after a girl who’s already attached but he can’t help how he feels around Jess. Jess notices Sam immediately and flirts gently with him. On their first meeting Sam dares Jess to eat the biggest burger in the canteen at Stanford and she takes him up on it.
It’s love at first sight.
After a month of loving Jess from afar, Sam finds out Dwayne has been hitting Jess one day and loses it on the College football hero in the canteen. Sam’s nearly suspended for smashing a window and Jess loses it at Sam’s inability to control his Winchester temper. But she’s falling for him hard. She goes to College football games and instead of watching Dwayne she cheers for Sam.
She ends up breaking up with Dwayne and she and Sam are finally together.
Sam remembers…he remembers every second of her…and he wishes he had it all back again. He wishes he wasn't Sam Winchester demonhunter psychic geekboy, he wishes he were Joe College again, if only for a moment...
