I wouldn't be surprised that they never thought up an entire backstory for one prop. Kinda like Dean's necklace and how then they started scrambling around for a backstory for that b/c the fans kept asking about it.

Why do they keep calling it the "cult" pistol when I'm sure Kripke said Colt every time? O_o It's never been known as the "cult pistol."

What gets me is that it says "Colt pistol" right before he goes off into the "cult pistol" tangent, so if he wasn't sure what it was called, why didn't he just stick with "Colt pistol"??? XD

I don't really understand why "cult pistol" seemed like a logical name ... Cult of what? (Doomsday?) And why did they own a special pistol? And how are they part of "the boys' best strategy"? ARGGH, spelling errors!
