EP 8 - THEY KEEP KILLING SUZIE

SYNOPSIS - Using the Resurrection Gauntlet that former Torchwood member Suzie Costello originally had, the team are able to bring a number of murder victims back to life. However, these all have a link with the now-deceased Suzie, and the group have no choice but to bring her back. After the process goes wrong, and permanently keeps her alive, Suzie manipulates the naïve Gwen into taking her to see her father.
MY THOUGHTS - OMG. That HAS to the BEST episode so far! I just loved everything about it, it was beautifully written and acted, exciting, funny, shocking, the music was wonderful, and the portray of characters and ships in this ep were perfect. OMG I just LOVED it!!
BEST BIT: Ok this ENTIRE EPISODE was fantastic… there are just TOO many brilliant things about it… but the best bit had to be the last scene. Jack and Ianto are just LOVE…
Ianto "If you're interested I've still got that stopwatch"
Jack "So??"
Ianto "Well think about it, lots of things you can do with a stopwatch"
Jack "Oh yeah *smiles* I can think of a few"
Ianto "there's quite a list"
Jack "I'll send the others home early, meet you in my office in ten"
Ianto "that’s ten minutes and counting"
Now call me young and naïve but… How many things CAN you do with a stopwatch?? Unless they both have a love for speed scrabble which they don’t want the others to know about? LOLZ.
I also loved the slow motion at the start and Jack flirting with the policewoman, the writing in blood, Jack dancing at the ‘Wolf’ Club, the guy getting mad whenever Jack saying ’Torchwood’, the beautiful scene with Gwen and Suzie in the car, Jack having to call the police for help and them laughing at him (‘Say that again?’ ‘Yes, we’re trapped in our own base…’), Ianto's cool rhyming names, Suzie killing her own father, Suzie‘s death scene… Oh there‘s just TOO much! (DID I MENTION I LOVE THIS EPISODE??)
And it was so creepy when Suzie was like ‘There’s something moving in the dark. And its coming, Jack Harkness. Its coming for you!’
*sings* There’s something in the darkness, coming for Jack Harkness!
(It rhymes, see? rhyming is good)
