TORCHWOOD!!
Ok, I’ve watched the first two episodes of Torchwood twice now, and I just can’t get over the AWESOMENESS of it.
The first episode was so cool, a fantastic intro in the first scene where we get a first look at Torchwood in action and Gwen watching them. There’s some brilliant shots, my favourite being the one of Jack standing in the rain, from that moment I knew Jack Is Back. It was such an exciting episode, and a real shock about Suzy, and when she shot Jack! Fantastic stuff.
Episode 2 gets more into what Torchwood is about, and the team, the characters. The moment I read the TV Guide info on this episode, I was just like ‘OMG they had to didn’t they?’ Its like they just went (And I watched Torchwood Declassified, this is pretty much how they came up with the idea for this episode actually…) ‘Lets see, we have an adult, post-watershed sci-fi show. Lets make an episode about… a sex-obsessed alien!’
But generally it was a brilliant episode, really funny!
Gwen is less annoying than I thought she would be, Eve Myles turns out to be a really good actress. Me and my sister agreed that Gwen is defiantly cool, but then again so are most of the characters on this show. Toshiko is wicked, Owen Harper is a bit up himself, (reminds me of someone off Eastenders) but luckily taking the piss out of him seems to be a common theme.
And of course there’s Captain Jack, who is just to die for. Seriously. I don’t even know where to begin... I just wanna HUG him. *sigh*...
I can’t wait ‘til episode three! ...Is it Sunday yet??
