Illusion XXXIII {Video}

[The screen opens to Fran sitting down at a table, resting his head in one of his hands and looking at the camera with a dour expression. Save for the ever-present frog hat, nothing about him seems to be animal-like. Weird. Fran's never been lucky enough to skip an event. ]

[A fly buzzes around his head lazily.]

Now you guys know how it feels, huh.

I can't control it.

[F his life. He's even froggier than usual.]

Those must be useful.

I like them! [She wiggles her nose intentionally.]

At least you can hear things better. I can't do anything with this.

[He hasn't figured out that he can jump about 15-20 feet higher than normal yet.]

I haven't really noticed if I can. Do you think these are all that real?

[She looks, well, excited by the idea.]

[supermistfrog]

Mine is.

[He looks...less than excited by the idea.]

[buntails]

Neat! I'll listen really carefully to everything and see if mine are!

You might hit yourself on doorways, though.

[buntails]

Hit myself on doorways? Why?

[Does this mean she gets jumping powers, too?]

[supermistfrog]

Your ears will hit the top, won't they?

[buntails]

I'm kind of... short, so it hasn't really happened yet.

[She has a good foot of clearance from most doors, and that gives some healthy room for the ears.]

[supermistfrog]

Ah. I see.

[Don't worry, Fran's quite short too. The frog hat is just that big.]

[buntails]

I wonder how tall people manage that.

Hey, maybe the Animus will do that next! I can be tall!

[supermistfrog]

Dunno. I'll ask Bel-senpai.

That would be a cool event.

[Seriously, Fran's only a couple inches taller than Usagi.]

[buntails]

[She's about 4'11. With legs that go on forever somehow. Oh, Takeuchi.]

And all the really tall people could be short. Payback!

[supermistfrog]

[I'm guessing Fran's anywhere from 5'1 to 5'3. I always add about 3-4 inches to any anime character's height because legs do not work that way.]

It would be funny to see Bel-senpai really short.
