Illusion XXX {Video}

 [The screen opens to show Fran sleeping. Nothing more, nothing less. He looks peaceful and calm, which is strange in itself after such odd events happening and so many new people coming here this past week. Ah well, the frog's got to take a break from kidnapping taking home sparkly ponies for food, doesn't he?]

[[Fox wanders through the buildings, thinking nothing of dreaming about being here. She looks around, though, wondering what she might encounter here.]]

[It's a pleasant atmosphere, but a scream can be heard echoing through the high-rise buildings. It's snowing lightly.]

[halflingfox]

[[Fox looks up sharply when she hears that scream, and she tries to pinpoint where it's coming from. If she can even get a vague feeling of direction, she'll take off running that way. If not, she'll just pick one at random and hope it's the right way.]]

[supermistfrog]

[The more down the way you take you go, the emptier the place feels. You come across a high-rise building, a pair of legs hanging out a broken window on the top floor.]

[halflingfox]

[[Fox looks up and spots those legs, and with a yelp she takes off into the building, looking for the stairs to try and get up there.]]

[supermistfrog]

[If you do find them, you'll find they are impossible in every sense of the word. Almost resembling an Escher painting, the stairs lead to the ceiling of the first floor, to the ground, even twisting to lead to each other. There are doors scattered around the staircases, each one occupying an otherwise empty platform.]

[halflingfox]

[[Fox doesn't like this at all. Fortunately, she does have a grappling hook on her person if she feels she needs to resort to that. She struggles to get to one of the doors, but thankfully she's a determined sort of person. If she can get to a door, any door, she'll open it and...make sure there's a floor first, then go through.]]

[supermistfrog]

[If you do reach a door, difficult with the constant rotation of the room, it will lead to a completely empty room, save for one wall missing, looking out onto the city. Fran is sitting directly in the center of said wall, legs dangling over the edge.]

[halflingfox]

[[Well, it certainly took a long time to get up here. Fox is tired out by this point, but she doesn't want to stop to rest just yet. She moves over to the young man and looks at him with a somewhat stern somewhat amused look.]]

I'd point out how difficult it was to get up here, but I have a feeling you already know...

[supermistfrog]

[He turns around, giving her a typical blank stare. Her tiredness makes him pleased somewhat.]

Ah, I can't make it easy for people, can I?

[halflingfox]

Guess not. Quite the view you've got up here, though.

[supermistfrog]

...

What do you want to see here?

[He swings his legs back and forth.]

[halflingfox]

I came up here cause I heard a scream outside. It looked like someone was about to fall, but I didn't think it'd be you just chilling out up here.

[[She moves to sit down beside him.]]

[supermistfrog]

[He allows it.]

...

People always want something from here, to see something.

[Even subconsciously, Fran is cautious.]

[halflingfox]

I bet, the view up here is lovely!

[[She smiles cheerily and looks out on the cityscape, not pushing him for anything.]]

[supermistfrog]

What do you want?

[Blunt and to the point. Though Fran does not know his dreams are being invaded, he does feel a personal intrusion of some sort.]
