365 - #22. Twilight Marathon.
Last Tuesday my sister, Jasper and I went to the Twilight Marathon (it was a birthday gift from my sister). The first movie would start at 6pm so for dinner we just went to Subway to get some delicious sandwiches.
We had a great night, eventhough it felt like we were in a sauna at the cinema. My sister was very relieved that she wasn't the oldest one at the marathon (there was a woman who was in her sixties) and Jasper was very relieved that he wasn't the only guy, lol.
The teenage girls with their screams and sighs were, again, annoying and funny at the same time. They acted as if they hadn't seen Twilight and Eclipse before. Everytime Edward came into the picture a few of them would scream or sigh and even more of them whenever Jacob came into the picture (Team Jacob woohoo, haha). After a while a few of the guys started to scream whenever Bella appeared, haha. At the beginning of New Moon, when Bella is standing across her grandma who is actually her own reflection... My sister and Jasper screamed :') Cracked me up.
After they showed New Moon they did some kind of lottery, we didn't win anything haha, which was ok, cause all the prices were overly-girlie.
Eclipse was good, I loved it, of course.. BUT. Yes, there's a but. The book was way, way, way better. It was still good though. Jasper was disappointed as well haha, because according to him the movie was more "girlie" than Twilight and New Moon. I guess it is, but I didn't seem to mind that, lol. It was great that Jasper Cullen (the vampire, not my Jasper) had more lines in this movie. He fascinates me. Just like Alice does :P Oh and OMG I looooove Seth, I want him to be my son, haha. If there would be a Team Seth I would be in it haha.
We spent about 8 hours in the theatre.. it was exhausting :P
365 - #23. C-U-T-E.
Jasper had the day off on Wednesday, since I also had my appointment at PsyQ, Den Haag. Afterwards we went into the mall and I bought this schoolyear weekplanner. Not that I will be going to school, but I just love those weekplanners, lol.
365 - #24. Jasper's new Zippo arrived, ooh.
365 - #25. Wearing my new dress, now considered a "lucky dress".
Friday I went to Jasper's work to watch the football game (the Netherlands - Brazil). Again I had managed to not wear any orange :P (I'm not a football-fan, I hate the orange hype cause it's so extreme :P). Jasper was really happy I was there, oh I'm such a good wife, I have only missed out on 1 football game in which the Dutch had to play, all for him :P lol. Anyway, since we won with 2-1, Jasper now considers my dress as a lucky dress, lol.
And the most shocking thing of the day: I actually got the whole happy-vibe when 'we' had won the game!
My orange-mojo is coming back after yeaaaars of hiding away somewhere deep inside of me.
365 - #26. Saartje & Nynke
On Saturday we went to pick up a bed my sister had bought of marktplaats for Saartje. When we got back we had some drinks in their garden while Saartje and Nynke had GREAT FUN with a cardboard box :')
365 - #27. Lazy Sunday afternoon.
Had a lazy day yesterday. Had lunch at Bagels & Beans, watched a movie later on with popcorn.. And went to my parents to BBQ.
Earlier this year I went to see Madina Lake in Eindhoven. I saw them twice last year in October as well, when they were support act for Papa Roach. Met the guys and they were really nice, especially Nathan and Matthew.
I was really shocked when I got this news on the 1st of July: Matthew was in the hospital because he got beaten up. He was walking down the street when he noticed a guy beating up woman. He helped her out but then the guy started to beat and kick the crap out of him... He was left unconscious on the sideway... At the hospital they had to remove a third of his skull so the swelling in his brain would go down. There will be another surgery, in which they will place this part of his skull back, on July 16th, if everything goes right.
This really shocked me. What he did was heroic and he's paying a heavy price for helping someone out...
I hope everything will go as the doctors have planned and that he will get better soon...
