In the kitchen at parties

America is good times.  Going away for a few days, even though I'm broke, is always a good idea.  Tomorrow the drive will be long again, and I'm pretty tired now.

When we got into the cities there was this thick fog/haze over the whole place, on the freeway you could only make out the tail lights ahead of you and the head lights from the oncoming traffic, it felt like driving into the abyss.  And the tank was low as the last we filled up was in Fargo about 500 km's before hand, and then we went the wrong way and were headed towards Duluth or something, it was funny-ish, but more scary because I really had no more gas, but we found a taco bell and they gave up directions to the nearest gas station, after driving around forever without seeing one, then after we filled up we passed about 10 gas stations, typically.

The alcohol stores here have all kinds of alcohol for all kinds of awesome prices.  I drunk a bottle of "gin'n'juice", it was green and contained ginseng, I think that means it was healthy.  regardless it cost 10 dollars and it did the job.  Yesterday drunk brit was drunky by like 2.  She didn't even recall sleeping on jackie's kitchen floor, I thought it was funny because I kneeled down and told her of her present state, sleeping on the kitchen floor, but she didn't remember that either.  I think she's happier, at least a little bit.

I met cool people here, and had different types of conversations, and the shake up from the usual is, to say the least, refreshing.  There is a cool girl here, and on her list of top 2 favourite joni mitchel songs; we have the same ones.  I don't anyone else who shares that with me.

Today I rocked socks at guitar hero.  I'm considering using my gst money to purchase it for myself, as I can't spend any money at all for the next month, as there is about 25 dollars in my bank account somehow.  really, I should be as conservative as ever with my cash, but on the other hand, I want it.  I am consumerisms bitch, apparently.

But he did not understand the price. Mortals never do. They only see the prize.Their heart's desire, their dream... But the price of getting what you want is getting what you once wanted.
