that don't take a bit away from the soul that I got

Last night the family and I went out to midnight mass, but St.Josephs decided to have it at 8pm, which is nowhere near midnight, so I suggested we got to St.Peters instead, and we went there and had mass and me and my sister whispered to each other and giggled until my mom scolded us like we were children, then we got in a huff because we weren't even being loud.

The priest was Filipino with a bad cold, therefore my dad thought that he was Japanese, and made numerous comments about how he's never seen a Japanese priest before, and we kept telling him that he wasn't Japanese, and my dad said that he sounded like it.  The dude was Filipino, clearly, with a Filipino accent, clearly, with a cold.

The best part was in the car home and my dad was joking about the Japanese priest and laughing at his own jokes and my mom said "Shuttup Lennart, you're not even funny."  And I laughed.

My sister got a call from Africa on her voice mail from the boy that likes her and I am so cheesed for her.  But it was funny when we were trying to figure out what the hell kind of area code is that...

Today I took my sister to the park and taught her how to ski across the country, it was funny because she got to a hill and I was teaching her how to climb it and she kept sliding backwards saying "oh no, oh no, well down I go again."

Tomorrow I'm going to Kenora to do kenora related things with the lady-type of a friend.

I got a ricecooker for christmas, in other words, everything I asked for.

Happy christmas everyone

India.Arie makes me happy.

i looked in the mirror and for the first time saw that
HEY!
i am not my hair
i am not this skin,
i am not your expectations
i am the soul that lives within
