I Need You, Boo
I'm such a loser for not updating lately. There have been a lot of things going on with my life lately. (Sorry for the uber long post!)
1) SCHOOL - I am getting joyous with my academic life. Everything is starting to go back to how it's supposed to be.
History165 - I got 23 out of 30 in my first long exam and man, that is NOT bad 'cause most got an average of 15 or so and plainly because I wasn't able to study for it. Relied plainly on stocked knowledge 'cause I fell asleep the night before the exams. We got a perfect score for our student reaction thing and a perfect score for our student discussion thing, thus, I can get exempted from the finals (and I MUST be exempted so I can watch the finale live) if I get at least 17 items correct in my 2nd long exam.
CS123 - FREE CUT FOREVER. I love it.
CS152a&b - This is the BEST subject ever. Getting good scores. Ugh. I just love the fact that I'm "getting" things though hardware/electronics stuff aren't really my thing.
Philo101 - HAH! I'm sort of understanding the point of LOGOS and it's soooo friggin' cool. Starting to become NOT quiet in class, too. :)
2) FRIENDS - Just had a small get-together thing at Jollibee with my blockmates a few hours back and I LOVE IT! I missed talking to real people and spending time with my blockmates is something I haven't done for a long time now. I just LOVE them soooo much. Thanks for being there Mika, Wimbie, EJ, Rudolf, Nelvin, Kim, Jam, Thomas, Raf, Dugs, Dingy, Clang, Andrea and Raiiiiii! :) I missed you guys so much! And, last Friday, I was able to be with a few of my blockies over at Rai's now-fully-furnished condo. What can I say? Her place is as awesome as it can be! :) Wii for the win! Aircon for the win! Daycare for the win! ROFL. Lastly, it's fun to catch up on things about my blockmates. Hah. I DEMAND a girls' night out or something. Hah. READ THIS, RAI! We mussssttttt have some more catching up sessions. I'd stay overnight at your place sometime for serious! LOL.
3) AMERICAN IDOL - As we all know by now, Cookie's in the finale. How cool is that? Here are some stuff I made for the man.
I was supposed to make a long post for Cookie but I just realized that there is no need for that. I know that Cook's the one who deserves this. He has shown how strong he is by being creative and amazing each week despite the fact that he's facing a big trial right now in the form of his brother's ailment. When I think about the inner strength that this man has, I can't help but see only the beauty in each of his performances and here he is, reaping everything that he deserves to have. There are two main reasons why I want him to win: (1) The music industry needs him 'cause he's an incredibly talented artist, and (2) It will make him happy 'cause he wants this and there's nothing else I want to see but a genuine smile on his face.
I've never been this "emotionally" attached to a celebrity before and seriously now, David Cook's voice has been the soundtrack of my summer. Sure, he made me lose my social life for a while but I do not regret everything that has happened to me involving Cookie (and Mikey of course 'cause he's seriously the love of my life). And as much as MJ is my #1 babe, I know that he wants his boyfie friend to win too. ;)
So, vote away on Tuesday (Wednesday for the Philippines) people! You know you want to! :) COOK for the win!
