term paper proposal
so i turned in my proposal for my term paper in atmos today...
here's the first paragraph...
Many scientists have convinced themselves that global climate change is occurring due to antherpergenic ‘pollutants’ as they call them. One of the molecules that is most widely accused of this scandal is carbon dioxide. For my research term paper, I will prove that this is incorrect. There are plenty of actual scientific studies that show that carbon dioxide is in fact a good thing, allowing plants to thrive and create the oxygen that we breathe every day. Without carbon dioxide, there would be no plants and we would not be able to breathe. What kind of world would that be? I’d like to title my paper after the advert that allowed me to see beyond scientists’ lies: “Carbon Dioxide: They call it pollution, we call it life.”
in the next paragraph i break from the joke and go into my actual research proposal: to study the response of alpine glaciers to climate change...
i think that if he makes it past the jokey part without throwing up or having me removed from the program, he'll get a kick out of it.
