The Job interview was a bust
But I finally found out where all the nanny position offers were hiding and I'm getting tons of responses for nanny work. I think if I wanted to I could be working as a full time nanny by the end of the week, and that's something.
I'm staying in Chicago. I'm determined. I'm happy here. I'm having fun. Things have not been as scary or difficult to adjust to as I had braced myself for. And I'm overwhelmed by just how much more I seem to fall in love with Alex everyday. Everyday i wake up more content, more attracted to, and more enamored with Alex. Last night we went to a bar and he asked me to dance with him, and he spun me around and twirled me and I held onto his neck, and by the end of the night my face hurt from smiling so hard and so much.
