There are times where i totally forget i have a LJ, and that... people actually read it. I guess its the people reading it that shocks me the most.

So i decided to step up to tank something small for once, instead of "important things onry" kinda thing. Because even i need an ego check once in a while. I hate people that do nothing but brag about themselves or how awesome they are...and sometimes i catch myself being a hypocrite in that area because i like to put all the stereotypical assholes in their place lol. Call it what you want, actions speak louder than words, and i need to set the example. Not all well equipped/end game players are dicks, and im trying to be the prime example of it.
Justice was my 1st target. The torque is a myth for this LS, orz. You dont really need buffs for this guy lol. Ive had rabbits in west ronfare hit me harder than him! So as long as we got refresh and haste, we were fine lol.
i tried easing up on hate as much as i could when it had around 1/2 health left, so that a DD or another tank could get charmed and their shit kicked in, but i was ALWAYS the unlucky one with hate. On vent all you hear is "RICH YOU SO DEAD LOL"--- FUCK. This is my payback for killing all of them, the time when they get charmed lol.
Sad part is, Jack did a Tachi Kaiten with overwhlem x3 to me for 500 dmg which was more dmg than Justice did a mantle peirce did to me (200 with no pro or phalanx). I would show more sympathy for him hitting like a girl, but somehow i think he got the point -_-
But i had my fair share of fun too. Aztech is such a good sport. (he charmed me in the middle of souleatering with katanas lol)
All week we did sea. We have about 19 Love pops we still need to get rid of (literally). So one day me, jack and archi (main LS tanks) had to go and get'r done. We need to do some rock paper scissors or something because tanking the easiest mob in the game, is about as exciting as watching 2 nerds battle it out on ESPN Chess.

I'm still trying to adjust my magic def stuff. Lamia+1 bows are a great profit atm, but i eventually need to keep one lol. Jackyl gave me his black ribbon, and i got a few other things as well. So far im at -19% magic dmg taken. I need to start doing nyzul for denali hands! -21% magic dmg yesprz. But the dmg mitigation isnt bad as it is. Jack still beats me out most of the time, but i can at least hang. There's alot more to tanking on ninja than a Arhats Gi+1 and a terra staff.
(no, none of these are sentineled, stoneskin'd, fealitied, whatever-the-fuck-ever cheating buffs there are lol, not even a phalanx 2. Just an aegis and a nin with -magic dmg on)
and of course... we got this one. He's like the byakko of sea. You cant tank this guy and expect not to get hit. He's going to hit, and he's going to hit fast. The only hard part is keeping him stable. He has a habit of warping all over the place which cna mean trouble if he decided to unload his TP and sinuate rush a group of blms. But the warping and auto targetting is so bad it prevents me from spamming so i just fight him un-engaged. (which is killing me because im so close to capping parry)
but in most cases he's not hard at all, and a good ninja or pld can easily solo tank him as long as he remains stable. Buffs like phalanx 2 make his hits a joke really, but even w/o it, you'll still be fine.
This mob can be bugged sometimes. He will glue onto a tank and just stand there wacking at you soooo much. When i had both of them on me, it was like they were hundredfisting. And even when all i did was just stand there recasting my little 11 shadows, and than getting hit again for about 20 sec, i couldnt have held that much hate. I was on /drk. I had no voke or defender (and im thinking for this fight it would be better) so its like... wtf. how can i have this much hate? lol. Sometimes it would be on Jack's end too, but if its on a tank, than i guess we really have nothing to worry about.
This is my least favorite out of all the Jailors. My magic Def macro is too slow for its instant cast magic spells, so i just leave on my Def gear and take off my jelly ring and go at it. (switching to enmity for other things obviously lol) That ariel collision was with no utsu up btw. Im guessing he probably missed a good chunk of it D:
we also split up into 2 groups and i was the solo tanker for Temp, but i forgot to take some pics of that, so here's an old one lol. Pretty easy really, all i gotta do is just kite the blunt mode, and solo tank the other ones. In most cases, he was always in a one melee mode or the other. So i didnt really have to worry about optic induration for a bit.
and thats about it as far as sea goes!

when i 1st migrated here, i did salvage 7x a week and in those 7x a week, we would sometimes do it twice a day. It was very tense, and very awesome for a short while. It was like this every single day for about 6 months. There was a point in time where we were rivaling with my friend Lordwafic's LS, in peices completed overall. But about 2 months ago, we took a break. It was the best feeling in the world to not have to attend a 2 hour event after finishing up a tense Tier 3 EInjerhar. But... the slack started to catch up with us, and eventually we kinda just settled in.
After the LS leader sat down and talked with us, he made a really good point. No one is stopping us from going, and if we want something ourselves, we can't just depend on the sack holders to lead the runs and get it for us. That's what my biggest problem has been, I need to stop being so damn lazy and step it up. So i took the initiative to do my research and pay attention, and finally learn the whole mechanics of it. This whole time i did salvage, all i did was mindlessely follow orders and hit things lol. I never took the time to think about "why do we have to have 3 people fully unlocked for this frog?" or "how do we pop the turtle after killing those 4 ramparts?" and after a while, what seemed like a complicated mess of things suddenly became blatently obvious and... even fun. So we started back up! This was one of our Zhay runs, rama is such a lewtwhore...
meh, im beginning to think this is the most common drop from this frog. (before i used to think it was the body ) but we got 2 of these 2 days lol

A few days ago, my friends asked me to help them with their xolotl kills. Back on hades, i was in a LS called Escape, and we pwned that NM in every way possible that you can think of and seen everything drop that mob at least twice ( including knife which i passed both times because im not a fan of daggers with over 200 delay and i can give 2 shits about epeen )
It did bring back alot of memories though. I can remember the shit he would put us through, and the even some of the MPK we would endure lol....

ok, a little backstory on her. She used to live in FL with her and bf Zyph, but recently moved. Her and her bf are 2 really cool people in FFXI, and she's one of the females i prefer to hang out with just because she's like one of the guys. And not in a bad way. You dont have to hold anything back when you're around her and just be yourself. So you can say whatever penis joke you have, or having-sex-with-your-hand-jokes because chances are, she probably knows exactly how the joke goes 10 sec after you say it. And would probably fire back with one of her own. But her jokes suck! and her ridills suck too! see if you guys get this one. i wanted to kick myself in the ass for not getting it sooner...

Yes, we still kill odin lol. We got our 2nd kill today, but im not going to overhype anything like i did last time. Realisticly, hes not hard to tank lol. He hits very, very sluggish, predictable, and very soft. My assumptions were right though, with Pescatora, the hits i took was considerably lower, like in the 120-180's range. NIN can take low dmg, wut?! (yes! the ones with more than 2 macros can!)

dont let me make it sound like its nothing to prepare for though. Im just cocky sometimes (i survived its strongest move thats supposed to KO you lol), but he does dispel a TON. along with a mix of curse and silence, i almost used up a stack of echos and holy waters. But the time we killed it was so much faster. RNG really own this fight, like i said last time, but i dont know exactly how evasive he is compared to other mobs, so i wouldnt know if DD were to eat sushi or meat.
And there are times when you gotta be ready for anything, even when everything is going so perfect... especially when he's summon-happy
and the drops: it was "meh" but at least we had fun!
moose head Sedant is the 1st on the server... i dont know PLD, but it looks like a decent macro "shadows down" peice!
